In her pursuit to look for a career that utilize both of her logic and creativity, Abyy took up BS Architecture from University of the Philippines Diliman where she graduated Cum Laude in 2014. She started working in Philippines' top architectural firm that uses Archicad for production and design. As a junior architect, she handled projects ranging from high-rise residential, commercial, and interior fit-out, coordinating with local and international consultants. As part of the core team, she was also mainly involved in a 20-hectare master planning design waterfront development with 21-tower mixed-use residential located in Mandaue, Cebu.

After 3 years in design and production, she eventually joined one of real estate developers in the Philippines to work as an architect integrating with design and engineering team to enhance properties in pre- and post-construction phase. From there, she gained her skills in project management through internal and external coordination. Abyy also became an in-house architect in charge of the property's commercial project during its design build construction.

From the start of her career in 2014, all of her various local and international projects made her working experience a diversified one. She considers her designs as math problems and puzzles that need solutions varying per client's individuality.
