RAYMUND CAYANAN

Raymund was in his third year of practice as a Licensed Architect in the Philippines when he moved to Guam in February 2006 and for over 17 years his work spanned multiple project types, including institutional, military, aviation, hospitality, healthcare, industrial, high-end retail and flagship stores, mixed-use, residential, and affordable housing across all phases of design and construction.

Ray received an award as “Thesis of the Year 2001” for his research and design of the Forensic Laboratory and Research Facility located at the University of the Philippines, Diliman. His thesis “The 4N6 Complex” participated in the Netherlands as the Philippines entry for the Archiprix International Exhibition” representing world’s best graduation projects” in 2001.

As a foreign architect in a US jurisdiction, Ray has fulfilled all U.S. and jurisdiction licensing requirements comprised of eight (8) years of experience in architecture under a licensed architect, three (3) years of broad and documented experience (5,700 hours) via Architectural Experience Program (AXP) and passed the grueling seven (7) Architect Registration Exams administered by National Council of Architectural Registration Board (NCARB), Washington D.C.


Ray is a U.S. Licensed Architect, registered in Guam, CNMI & the Philippines, and a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and United Architects of the Philippines.
